Jade teaches Jitterbugs and Beebopper classes at ISM Alstonville. She grew up attending piano lessons and singing in choirs. Music has always been a part of her life. During her Bachelor of Primary Teaching degree at Queensland University of Technology, she majored in Music and taught in Queensland schools in their classroom music program. She also had fun conducting choirs and bands.
Growing up in the area, she decided to move back to Alstonville to raise her children. With many years teaching experience in Primary school music, Special education, Early childhood, and having a local connection, it is a joy for Jade to teach at ISM Alstonville.
Jade is passionate about introducing young children to the language of music and how fun it can be!
Emily has a lifelong appreciation for music, shared by her family. She began piano lessons at the age of 5, taught by her sister Lisa. This led to the completion of AMEB Grade Eight Piano. At the age of 16, due to her passion for singing, Emily started singing lessons. This led to performances at weddings, various concerts and exhibitions.
Emily’s love for music has brought her to the International School of Music so that she can share the gift of music with future generations.
Teacher – Justin Bannister
Justin grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan, USA and started playing piano at the age of 9. During the last 2 decades he has had the privilege to play with many musicians across the globe. In 2012, while living in Singapore, Justin had the opportunity to teach music to children ages 4-6. That was his introduction to music education for young ages.
Since joining ISM Alstonville he has enjoyed learning new teaching techniques and watching the children grow into well-rounded musicians. He looks forward to more fun and educational experiences with ISM Alstonville.
